Tiger Knight has been in development for quite some time now

Now empire war games have their eyes set on Steam to reach a larger audience. The combat is a bit more grounded in realism than your standard large scale combat game, but it is also a bit less clunky in comparison to games like Mount And Blade where you sometimes have random battles of wild swings that never connect with your opponent.

The below video uploaded by Zhentian Lin showcases the combat system and how weapon damage affects armor resistance, and all the different types of armor styles you can choose from in the game, which makes combat a bit more complex and diverse.

The armor and damage system seems quite interesting and I’m hoping that the actual game will stay true to what they demonstrated in the above trailer to deliver a unique combat system that is more or less historically accurate, while also finding that key balance to keep the game fun. The development team released a second gameplay trailer that showcases a bit more of Tiger Knight in action, so check out the second trailer that I linked below.

Enemy cavalry is your main enemy in Tiger Knight

There doesn’t seem to be a real range limit for empire war online Volley , so if you have a clear line of sight and you know where the enemy is, most of the time you can launch a volley from one end of the stage to the next. I don’t rely on vollies because they often times miss, and if you play an entire game using only vollies your kill count can sometimes be as low as single digits. But if used right, it can be a devastating attack to wipe out dozens of enemies at once.

Enemy cavalry is your main enemy, they move so fast it will be hard to get a clear hit in with your slow arrows. Study their movement pattern, lead the target and aim in front of them, then fill their darn horse with arrows! The horse is way bigger than the soldier, so it makes for an easier target. Take away their speed and you are left with a normal foot soldier. Besides, when the horse dies and the general hits the ground you will now have about 2 seconds to fill him with as many arrows as you can, or charge him before he can get on his feet and unleash a deadly melee combo on him!

Personally, I think that Cai Mao is a decent Adjutant for archery because he gives you two new formations that you can use that are good for archer squads, and he also has a Dispatch command so you can tell your troops to run to a specific location without you. The Wing style formation where your soldiers divide into two groups is great for cavalry because if they choose to charge into one group, you still have a second group to shoot arrows into their back.

The F5 key will allow you to activate Archer vollies. When activated this will trigger a zoomed out tactical view of the stage and will show blue circles where the arrow’s will impact most. Let those circles gather and cluster together for maximum accuracy.

Tiger Knight- Roman Adjutants

When at empire war game, the flag bearer would stand in the front line of the formation, wearing a wolf hide and holding the banner as a symbol of glory and unity. The coalition of the Eighteen Princes entered Luoyang and fought with Dong Zhuo at the Hulao Pass.

New Roman Adjutant: Macrinus Marcus Nonius Macrinus(Full Name: Marcus Nonius Macrinus) was a famous general and politician during the Roman Empire. He was from Brescia, Northern Italy and helped the Roman Empire achieve numerous military achievements. This led him to him being appointed as a province governor and to becoming one of Marcus Aurelius’ trusted advisors. He was also one of the main figures that Maximus, from the movie “Gladiator”, was based on.

New Roman Adjutant: Early Signifer  A flag bearer represents the soul of Ancient Rome's armies. Since the forming of the republic, bearing this banner was a position of great status. When at war, the flag bearer would stand in the front line of the formation, wearing a wolf hide and holding the banner as a symbol of glory and unity.

Bows don’t have combo attacks

As for other gear in war games online, fire arrows are your best friend. A recent update from Tiger Knight: Empire War moved the fire arrows out of the cash shop gold currency and made it a normal copper currency, so I carry between 60-120 fire arrows. You can get a lot free from the daily missions and by playing the Epic War mode as rewards. Fire Arrows deal out damage over time, so even though the short bow does little damage, shooting consecutive fire arrows into your foe can do massive damage. Equip them in one of your item slots from the storage menu to use them in battle. I almost always use fire arrows against enemy players.

Short bows: The short bow has short range so it does well in close combat, the damage is lower, and the accuracy is dreadful — however, it is predictable and with a little bit of practice you can master where and how to shoot your arrows. Due to the short range you will need to be relatively close to the action to get good shots. The benefits of the short bow however is its speed. Not only will you nock arrows faster so that you can loose them upon your foes, but the charge attack shoots off a rapid fire barrage of about three arrows in quick succession. If your arm is steady and your aim is true, you can get three arrow headshots for a total of about 60-80 damage, which can really deal out massive damage to several foes at once from a skilled archer.

Longbow: The longbow has very long range so it is better to use at long range, close range combat is difficult to get clean hits in.  The longbow also has high damage and superb accuracy (especially at higher levels). However, it shoots very slow because the draw weight is a lot higher, so it takes a bit of time to aim and loose your arrows. The charge attack is very deadly because it shoots off a high damage arrow that can pierce its target, and by pierce, I literally mean that it goes all the way through. I was once able to get a double kill headshot because the arrow went through one general’s head and hit the second.

Double quivers:  This is optional. I ranked S within the first few tries of the archery training the first day I played (I was horrible with horseback melee though), as a result, I went full archer build and skipped on using a horse altogether. You will run out of arrows quickly during combat, so a second quiver will give you wiggle room for extra shots. That leaves you with one slot left for a melee weapon.

Tiger Knight: Empire War Gameplay, Graphics, Sound

Tiger Knight: War Empire looks decent, even though some of the melee attacks can look more decent. I want to compare Tiger Knight: Empire War to the Dynasty Warriors series, but upon watching the gameplay trailer I can see that the combat is a lot slower and a lot more realistic, making the comparison closer to Mount And Blade rather than Dynasty Warriors.

This review will teach you that most important thing in this kind of games is that you need to pay attention to everything that moves. The tutorial was over, and I start playing my first game.

In the start up window of the game, you can see your character and even change the items he’s wearing. Also, there is a lot of items to upgrade, purchase, buy an adjustant, recruit an army. It’s really something. Take a look at the picture down below, you’ll get the point.

As I said, there are thousands of things to do in this game. There is a global chat on the bottom left side and under Storage, there is customization to the general options, your horse, and decoration (just like fashion). Getting the Adjutant or recruit will help you in the fight, which you also choose from the client. Equipping skills, armor… should definitely make you a lot stronger. This review is all about that and we’ll try to keep posted for every incoming update.

Tiger Knight is about cold weapon and military strategy

Tiger Knight empire war games is the most engrossing online action game you'll find about cold weapon and military strategy. I'll talk about my first impressions, and then show you guys actual gameplay recorded from my live-stream. There were a lot of pretty funny moments.

I don't think it compares with actual MMORPGs but it's definitely something I'd play again. I wouldn't put thousands of hours into it or no-life the game but I'll be playing it here and there and in between games/patches. Have you guys played Tiger Knight: Empire War?If not, do you plan on playing it? A lot of people say it reminds them of Mount & Blade.

The game doesn't have the best optimization but it's far from the worst. The graphics are okay and the combat is pretty slow but it makes up for all of that with the 5v5 war mode. Regardless of the combat and graphics, commanding tons of soldier and running around different maps to spear down actual players and execute them is pretty fun. If you have friends to play with you'll love this game even more.

Each player leads an army, and while the focus is on player versus player (PVP) gameplay, the game also features a player versus environment (PVE) mode. Battles take place between hundreds of player-controlled units. The game focuses primarily on unmounted combat at lower levels, and mounted combat at higher levels, with simultaneous focus on the communication, strategy, tactics as well individual performance.
