Tiger Knight Generals Introduction

Tiger Knight: Empire Online doesn’t use a class system, instead you choose your soldiers that will fight with you in battle. Just like Dynasty Warriors, you have a small group of AI controlled NPCs that follow you and fight by your side. Your faction chooses the default group and your basic loadout, but you can switch to use another faction at any time.

Moire Copper Chest: A basic battlefield military supply box which can be gained by accumulated battle victories or bought in the store. Open “supply box” interface to receive random supplies.

Thunder Silver Chest: An intermediate battlefield military supply box which can be gained by accumulated battle victories or bought in the store. Open “supply box” interface to receive random supplies.

When the HP of a General is equal to or lower than 80, defensive capacity will be improved but movement speed will stay the same. When his HP returns back to above 80, everything will go back to normal.

The thing that makes Tiger Knight game so great though is the development team. They keep us informed, there is a lot of chatter in the forums, they take in feedback and criticism, they keep us up to date about server problems and they try hard to fix it, and most importantly, if they give us an ETA deadline for when the problem will be fixed, they normally meet that deadline!

Gongsun Zan, also known as Bogui, was a warlord near the end of the Eastern Han from Lingzhi, Liaoxi, and was Zhangshi (official position) in the early years of Youzhou. In the thirteenth year of Jian'an, following the fall of the Jingzhou army to Cao Cao, he surrendered once again to Liu Bei. From the eighteenth to the nineteenth year of the Jian'an era, Huang Zhong performed outstandingly during Liu Bei's attack on Yizhou's Liu Zhang and was appointed as the general of enemy invasions. In the twenty-fourth year of the Jian'an era, Huang Zhong led his troops to attack Cao Cao's subordinate, the famous general Xiahou Yuan, during the battle of Mount Dingjun, killing him in the process. After Liu Bei became the emperor of Hanzhong, his title was changed to the later general, a high ranking position. The following year, Huang Zhong died of illness and became known as Ganghou.

Tiger Knight: Empire War Is Out Now on Steam Early Access

Tiger Knight: Empire War is a massive multiplayer online PVP game which reenacts large-scale wars in the Middle Ages. It reproduces true equipment from history such as weapons, armors and horses. With its single battle and team battle systems, this game brings you back to the brutal era of melee wars.

Created with Unreal Engine 3, victory and loss is experienced in numerous modes including PvP, in which up to five players per faction will control up to 40 warriors, which can include the high-level tiger knights, per side for battles where communication, strategy and tactics are as important as individual performance and battlefield skill. Keeping true to the realism in Tiger Knight: Empire War, players also engage in mounted combat, relying on their horse to triumph over the enemy.

Across the truceless battlefields brutal warfare has broken out with four factions each vying to rise above the other and deception is the name of the game. In Tiger Knight: Empire War battle is in third person combining action gameplay with player-controlled mounted warriors and strategic large-scale MMO battles.

Western publisher Oasis Games announced that Tiger Knight: Empire War is available now on Steam Early Access as a free-to-play (F2P) game. This is a PvP focused multiplayer game that reenacts large-scale wars from the Middle Ages.

The Europe server should now operate as extended

This week we have updated the game empire – introducing some balance adjustments, adding a new Supply box reward element with some new gear, and fixed a number of bugs. However, as can often be the case, the updated version contained a few new bugs of its own!

Following this week’s update, the EU server should now operate as extended, and the NA server issues will also be fixed very soon. They will also be adding a new function to show the server time in game. Some big adjustments in this area and now the equipment and weapon stats of high level players have reduced further when entering lower level battlefields. But it’s inevitable that some high level players can still win with their powerful battle capabilities. Don't lose heart; you will also be strong soon with continuing efforts.

Two emergency maintenance periods later and most of these should now be resolved, however please continue to report any issues you come across. In the meantime, we’d like to address some topics and feedback raised by the community.

Enter battle with the right armor

The most common armor in Three Kingdoms Period is two-crotch armor, made of hard metal and leather. The lower level two-crotch armor is mainly created from leather and the higher level by iron. The chest and back of the armor usually adopt small exquisite strips to increase its flexibility.

Loricae is the advanced version of two-crotch armor, and is named after the two plate-shape chest protectors. This type of armor is made of copper, iron and other metals. After being polished, the armor shines like a mirror under the sunlight.

Horses can assist with negotiating difficult terrain

Tiger Knight is a new type of action-strategy competitive Empire War online game, inspired by the developer’s love of ancient melee warfare and mounted combat – both of which are major features of tiger knight war.

Both strong horses and those that can jump high offer clear advantages in battle, however the first criteria for deciding whether a horse is good enough is its speed and flexibility! No matter which mode, no matter what type of terrain, horses that run fast are able to help players quickly occupy strongholds and raid camps, thus leading to victory and even turning a loss into a win! Be aware of your character's equipment and harness's weight, as this will affect the speed of the horse.

Duel Mode is the most brutal fighting mode in game. When charging into a fight, facing an opponents’ fierce attack, mounted players should be extra careful. If the horse is killed by enemy, the rider will fall to the ground temporarily incapacitated, giving the enemy player an opportunity to finish the fight there and then.

Having a strong horse, able to withstand a higher amount of damage and protect the player, is an important factor when facing off against the enemy.

Tiger Knights‘ Duel Mode is The Most Flawed Game Mode

Tiger Knights empire war game‘ Duel mode is probably the most flawed game mode because it has no spawn protection and it sometimes stacks all the skilled players on one team, leaving new players and unskilled fighters to try and struggle on another team together. It is also annoying because players will go AFK (Away from keyboard), leaving a team of unresponsive fighters just standing around for the other team to kill.

Epic War is flawed because for some reason the FPS drops drastically and runs horribly. This game mode also has special cutscenes for the story and to introduce main generals to the battlefield, and it sometimes gets stuck in the cutscene to either leave you in a black screen or your controls will stop responding. Alt Tab seems to fix most of these problems for some reason…

The server, especially the North American server, has a lot of stability problems so we get a lot of lag. On top of this, we have to share a server with the east and west coast as well as Canada and South America. As a result, it bogs down the server and creates problems. The developers say they are aware of this and they are working on a solution, but in the meantime it means that we Americans and Canadians have to play on a laggy server with strange ping spikes.

Furthermore, if you choose to play as an Archer you will become frustrated by the wonky accuracy. This wouldn’t be a problem because I understand they want to avoid super-snipers, however the damage with the arrows is quite low, especially for the first 5 archery levels or so. The arrow speeds are also extremely slow, so even after you master the accuracy, you also have to master leading the arrow to get a proper hit. So it’ll take you a good 5 to 6 perfectly placed arrows just to get a decent kill against another player. Proceed to throw in armor damage reduction, and well… I think you get the idea.

Learn to accumulate strength, beat the opponent in one strike

As a melee weapon themed online game, the combat in Game Empire Tiger Knight takes inspiration from older games such as Mount and Blade. This type of combat system can be complex, so the developers have uniquely restructured it in order to ensure a fun and exciting experience – without losing the core gameplay.

This type of nuanced system allows new players to jump right into battle and have fun, while also catering for master players who prefer to develop their skills over a longer period of time.

Offense is the basic skills of all fighting, and an important discipline to grasp. Players in the game using the slash-type weapons will take advantage of a 4-direction strike system. They can also employ a charged attack, unleashed by clicking the left mouse button while charging at the enemy.

On the battlefield, an effective soldier will need to know when to block and defend. In tiger knight empire, the simplest way to employ block and counterattack strategies is to take a shield into battle. When the enemy launches an attack, blocking the right time and direction will open up an opportunity to strike back at the enemy before they can recover.

Leveling Up, Equipment and Cash shop

All of the Tiger Knight game modes will give you a combination of General EXP, Solder EXP, Copper (basic currency) and Prestige. The only mode that doesn’t give soldier EXP is Duel mode because your soldiers of course do not follow you into battle, so instead you gain Exploit points. Exploit points are special points you use to gain rare special weapons and armor types that is outside your faction progression. For example, if you earn enough points you can unlock a special quality halberd weapon without following the Wei soldier faction, etc.

General EXP is for your main character and will level you up, soldier EXP is used to upgrade your soldiers to get them better equipment and to move up the ranks to unlock more advanced tiers and soldiers.

Prestige is similar to soldier EXP, but you can also use it to unlock new Adjutant soldiers (your right hand man), or used to force level up your soldiers to skip out training them up in battle. For example, a soldier needs 5,000 EXP to rank up to the next tier, but they only have 1,000 soldier EXP from combat, you could use 4,000 prestige to cover the gap to forcefully level them up, but the only downside is that prestige is earned at a very slow rate, so it is pretty difficult to get more of it.

As you level up and get higher in level, you also unlock new missions and stages for you to play which adds complexity and variety to the game.

As for the cash shop, the developers say they are aware that no one wants pay-to-win gameplay, so for now the only cash shop items are small things like healing supplies, fire arrows, horse whistles to summon a horse in battle, character rename cards and customization, and other small items. There was talk about weapons and armor being in the cash shop, and so far the idea is that if your main character’s level is lower than the equipment requirement then the armor will debuff down to match your character so that it isn’t overpowered.
